A great place to find all types of jobs is LinkedIn - follow this short guide to make sure you apply the correct filters to get visibility of the 5000+ remote jobs that are listed as available in Ireland at time of publishing or even the 100K+ available in Europe of which more may be available in IE even if they don’t show up using the “Ireland” location filter!

Top Tip - allow for some small % of errors in terms of remote listings as many jobs are picked up from across the web via tags. Make sure you always scratch below the surface and dive into the job descriptions!

This month we’re spotlighting a key enabler of both finding remote work and thriving as a remote worker - networking!

Last week at the National Hubs Summit we saw a masterclass presentation on the topic from Kingsley Aikins - Founder, The Networking Institute.

Here were x10 top tips that were shared around a message of being intentional about networking, setting yourself goals and having a plan!

Why do these top tips matter? In this video there is a brilliant quote “Opportunities don’t float around on clouds, they’re attached to people. If you're looking for an opportunity your really looking for a person”.

What can you do?

✅ Define your brand – Get clear on what you want to be known for.
✅ Be visible – Your work won’t speak for itself; showcase it!
✅ Build your proof – Credibility matters. Show the world your expertise.
✅ Own “Me Inc.” – Take control of your career and invest in your growth.
✅ Be intentional – Not having a personal brand is a personal brand. Make yours work for you.

The State of Remote IE

Each month we track the amount of remote jobs that are listed on LinkedIn for Ireland. At the end of November 2025 the numbers look like this 👇

18% of jobs listed are remote and 24% are hybrid which = a total of over 40% of jobs are flexible (5000+) and that has been consistent over the last year.

P.S - In 2026 we will be adding in a new layer of tracking remote jobs open in the European Economic Area. Today the # is 94K+

Not all of these jobs are available in IE but our 2025 Pre Budget Submission proposes that we build a strategy to bring as many of them as we can to Ireland for you!
